The Sahi Siblings
The faces of Sahi Media are Mohanned Sahi, Lowi Sahi, and Sandra Sahi. These siblings hail from a creative family, and Mohanned takes after his father, who loved to capture precious moments with an antique film camera. Sahi Media is the result of the siblings’ combined talents and creative visions, each of which is special in its own right.
Mohanned Sahi, who oversees the production division of Sahi Media, is a co-founder of the family-run business. Mohanned pursued photography during his youth, which was inspired by his father’s hobby. Due to his intense curiosity, he became self-taught and was able to master the ins and outs of photography on his own. Beginning with jewellery photo shoots, he eventually produced his first jewellery brochure for his family’s firm. Later, he would study audio and video engineering at the SAE Institute in Brussels.
Throughout his career, he dabbled with several professions, but he eventually came full circle to pursue his love of film and photography. He has demonstrated great qualities to be outstanding in this sector with the assistance and support of his family and siblings thanks to his skills and accurate tactics. He says: “I like how you can eternally freeze a moment from someone’s life which actually happens in half a second in reality whether by photo or film.”
Mohanned has had the opportunity to perform and put those skills to the test by accepting a large number of projects in hand, including Documentaries for the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi, documentaries for Al Quoz Creative Zone by Dubai Culture, music videos for local artists, advertisements with significant influencers and leading brands in the GCC and MENA regions, among others.
Due to the face-paced rise in technology, Mohanned is eager to see what the future holds for the audio-visual industry. He perceives it as a perpetual progression of technology, techniques, and socializing, and he aspires to depict our lovely planet through his creative lenses. Mohanned is proud to have chosen to pursue a field that has fascinated him since he was a little child and has grown to be the head of it in his family firm as a result of his significant accomplishments and lucrative triumphs.
A YouTuber and director, Lowi Sahi. He spent more than 12 years living and working in Saint-Luc, Brussels, Belgium, where he studied advertising and media. Lowi entered the social media realm in 2015 with a series of brief comedic videos on Snapchat and Instagram, where he garnered a ton of attention. Later that year, he made the jump to Youtube Vlogging and increased his exposure in the area by consistently producing entertaining and educational content. He currently has more than 600 YouTube vlogs, covering a wide range of topics including family, friends, weddings, challenges, life experiences, significant events in his personal life, his business, and much more.
Lowi produced and directed a short film based on his memoir in November 2016. In the film Places, it was revealed that the comedian’s numerous messages were distributed as a result of a larger narrative hidden under his humor and way of life. Companies began to approach Lowi in an effort to integrate their brand with Places’ compelling and moving genuine narrative.
Lowi drew a varied audience by making use of his multi-cultural heritage. His life and memories were conserved, inspiring a generation of young people who had grown up in challenging situations to believe in their own potential and the importance of education, love, and ambition. His guiding principle has always been, “I make videos for my future children to be able to see how their father lived and show them the journey through my eyes.”
Given where he is now—owning Sahi Media, getting married, and becoming a parent to a new baby—Big Lowi’s years so far have been 2021 and 2022. Sandra Sahi, a 22-year-old singer/songwriter with Iraqi ancestry who also creates content, was born and raised in Belgium. In 2017, while still a high school student, Sandra began to work in Dubai. She was only 16 years old when she signed her first contract with Pantene Arabia to perform the company’s own song, and since then, she has been approached by numerous companies. For the past ten years, she has called Dubai home.
Sandra gained notoriety by covering well-known songs and publishing them online; this swiftly inspired her to start writing her own music at the age of 18.
With more than 2.5 million views on YouTube, her first song, “Coconut,” was a regional sensation. With her successful song “Ya Hayati,” she then embarked on an adventure and voyage to explore her creativity, style, and sound with Arabic/English pop. She subsequently transitioned into French music in 2021 to reflect her Belgian heritage. Since Sandra has released music in English, Arabic, and French, which is how her audience knows her best, Sandra can now be described as multilingual and eclectic in her musical style.
