What makes you strong?

If you want to succeed, being strong is never going to be an option. It is the only choice.
Over the years, Victor Magazine has shown its resiliency and this celebration of its second year anniversary is yet another milestone which presents how strong and determined the team is to push boundaries, explore horizons and extend beyond the norms. We, at Victor Magazine, thank you for being a part of our journey in keeping up with life and fashion’s trends.
It is with no doubt that this breakthrough is going to be one for the books but this doesn’t stop here. Change is the most constant thing in this world and we aim to keep up with the unceasing change in trends.
With people living in an ever changing society, what makes you strong? What drives you to wake up in the morning and continue to live? May it be your family, friends, career or passion, our reasons are bound to be subjective.
Being strong is no ordinary task. It requires a great deal of inner strength to withstand through life’s challenges and the ability to bounce back every single time we hit rock bottom. It may be easy to say that you are tough but you will only know how strong you are when you have been put to test. It is when you realize that it is not the end of the world even if you fail. Failure is an element of success and if you have never experienced failing, then you aren’t doing anything at all. Fall down seven times, stand up eight.
Having said that, when you make your mind strong, everything else in your life will fall into place. Once you set something positive in your mind, your body will follow. Everything starts with having the right kind of mindset to be able to surpass every level of this journey in life. If you give up on level five, the game is over. Remember that we only got one life to live and we do not have the power to turn back time yet so you have to make the most of it.

So if you’re going to ask me what makes me strong? It is life’s adversities. Sure, the family keeps me going but ignoring certain situations that have given me lessons all throughout my journey is something that I will never allow myself. These are the moments that make me feel like giving up but then I continue to push forward because I know something great is waiting for me at the end of the tunnel. The things that keep knocking me down are literally the same things that keep me going. Sometimes, we all need a good cry but then we have to keep reminding ourselves that we are bigger than those obstacles. You have to establish a strong persona until you can challenge life itself and ask if that is all that he’s got to throw at you.
Taking charge
I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.
In William Ernest Henley’s Invictus, he made an emphasis on who determines your future. Those lines depict how strong you need to be in order to take control of your life and live the way you have always wanted to live. This sets the trajectory of your success. Remove all thoughts on mediocrity and be so strong that you make yourself believe you are meant for greatness.
Taking control of your life is a brave and responsible act. While there are people who continue to let others dictate what should be done and what should not be, become someone different. Do not shake when the people around you question your belief and actions. You are strong enough to break the cycle and start something new and that is something that they would not be able to fathom.
There will be walks that you need to take alone.
Challenges that you alone will have to face.
Problems that you alone can only solve.
Riddles that only you can decipher.
Walking alone may seem to be the hardest part of your journey but that, for sure, will make you stronger.
