Leading American lifestyle brand, GANT, has commenced further expansion in the UAE with the opening of its newest store at City Centre Al Zahia, Sharjah, on Thursday 26 August. Offering apparel that caters to the needs of the modern gentleman, the brand marks its newest store opening with its Pre-Fall 2021 collection launch inspired by the US West Coast, a destination of the season.
Situated on the first floor, the GANT store features a new, elevated decor concept with an eye-catching skylight ceiling and uplifted interior elements with shades of warm lights and wooden flooring that reflect GANT’s brand seasonal aesthetic and create a backdrop for the classic GANT textiles and Pre-Fall collection.
In-store, the Pre-Fall season is a refreshing burst of clashing contrasts found through fragile coral reefs and windswept beaches of the Channel Island National Park, just off the coast of southern California for inspiration. The exquisite coral and seashells of the National Park combined with Silver Lake’s strong sense of neighbourhood and hip America vibe is what the collection creatively explores this season with a feeling of wanting to disrupt the perfect – an unexpected twist of the familiar.
Drawing inspiration from Americana and its subcultures, the bandana is a given symbol for Pre-Fall with the inclusion of paisley. Patchwork and denim also enhance the feeling of modern, cool and easy styling. The overarching look is crisp with a touch of bohemian street luxe. The silhouette is interesting and comfortable. Think printed short sleeves and shorts and a defining new tailored look that is not about the suit, but about sets – where the blazer might be something else. It’s summer sportswear with a luxurious western Silver lake twist.
