Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah’s newest addition, Green Room, offers a new luxury VIP Club experience

 

Good food and good life – that is what most people think about when asked about Dubai. With tourists flocking in the city to party their hearts out, the metropolis has become a known home for some of the most popular bars and clubs around the world – a perfect escape from Dubai’s hustle and bustle. 

Right at the heart of Palm Jumeirah, lies one of Dubai’s top destinations that highlight the cosmopolitan’s urban scene, Soho Garden. The club may boast of its aesthetics but definitely, this is not your typical garden as shrubs and flowers don’t grow there for sure. This nightlife spot situated on Nakheel Mall’s rooftop is a garden of unparalleled entertainment, dining, amazing experiences and socialization whilst offering mesmerizing views of  The Palm’s golden sunsets.  

With Soho Garden consisting of several unique bars and restaurants like the Hive, Black, Code DXB, Glasshouse and Playroom to name a few, comes a new addition – The Green Room. 

The Green Room is a premium upscale and unique hideaway if you want the feel of exclusivity – a brilliant choice for a VIP Club. The place is only accessible via a restricted corridor in an undisclosed corner of Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah. 

 

Ambience and venue

We know for a fact that the Green Room is located inside Soho Garden. However, we did not expect to go through a restricted corridor which adds to the excitement. It gives a feeling of a VIP being guided to a secret sanctuary to finally enjoy the weekend. 

Upon entering the venue, we were greeted with a sophisticated looking spot where fixtures speak of glamour. LED lights across the ceiling add an eclectic vibe while dramatic chandeliers give a nostalgic look at the medieval times. The lush green velvet armchairs complement the elegance of the place while the entire vibe was festive as DJs played house music. 

A few minutes to 6 in the evening, people were enthralled to see all the window curtains being opened at the same time so guests can take a scenic view of the gorgeous sunset. There, we were able to take a closer look of the entire view of the venue – from the Victorian style walls to the lengthy mirrors that adorned the place, stunning would be an understatement. 

 

 

Food

The vibrant entertainment is not the only go-to option in the Green Room as it offers a wide array of delectable selections of international cuisines that you can relish too. Guests can indulge in their elegant food choices ranging from starters to mains up to desserts offered in their Saturday Brunch which runs from 2-6 PM. 

The brunch was a delight to our appetite as options ranged from a wide range of sushi platters, salads, seafood, roasted chicken and a whole lot more sumptuous dishes, not to mention that they also have options for grilled dishes. The desserts platter ranges from a mix of different cakes and fruit slices. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without their house beverages and premium cocktails skillfully prepared by their mixologists. 

Guests can also opt for A La Carte if they want to indulge in the specialty dishes. Their Burratta, sun blush tomato tapenade with basil pesto and bruschetta is perfect for a summer appetizer especially when paired with their signature cocktail drinks. 

The Rainbow Maki is just heavenly and mouth-watering so I could eat a whole lot more of it. Their Classic Beef Tenderloin with Mushroom Sauce is best when served hot and great for any special occasion. One couldn’t go wrong with choosing this tenderloin as you taste the right amount of spices while it basically melts in your mouth. 

 

The Lobster with Spicy Mango Sauce is actually best served as an elegant lunch or light supper as one can agree that it is of the luxurious type. The lobster is perfectly cooked and the sauce complements its taste while retaining its freshness at the same time. To appreciate the taste more, it is highly encouraged to indulge while it is still warm. 

 

 

Service

The staff were pretty friendly and accommodating, not to mention that smiles and laughter were exchanged. We were guided by their staff from the Soho Garden entrance up to the Green Room where we went through the restricted area. Imagine what it would be like if we just helped ourselves make assumptions on which way to go, especially that the location is discreetly hidden. You can help yourself in the brunch experience but a friendly staff is there at the long buffet table to assist you too. The staff were attentive and were polite to ask if we still needed anything further. The service has made the experience more enjoyable, to say the least.

 

 

Value for money

You can enjoy the Saturday Brunch experience for AED 300 for ladies and AED 350 for gents which is quite reasonable considering that you get to flatter your appetite with a selection of mouth-watering dishes and beverages while dining VIP style in a stunning venue. So basically, you get what you pay for. 

Nonetheless, they also have a “She” Ladies Night every Thursdays where they can get a sharing platter and 4 beverages for AED 175 per person and a Happy Hour from 7PM to 9PM every Wednesday to Sunday where guests can enjoy buy one get one free on selected beverages.

Soho Garden also hosts a wide array of talents that perform on their stages. Dance your night away with hot salsa rhythms and authentic Cuban tempos every Wednesday as the Cuban live band, Cubache, takes the center stage. 

Take relaxation on your weekend while enjoying Carrion Gibson’s NuvoSoul live from 7pm ‘til late every Sunday. Enjoy sophistication and elegance while indulging in sushi and grape or bubbles from AED150 per person while listening to the live jazz ensemble.
